Working Principle

When an overcurrent event occurs, the temperature of the ECNR15’s element increases rapidly, and its resistance also increases proportionally. This results in a decrease in the current flow. Once a certain temperature is reached, the fuse’s element is irreversibly transformed and the fuse opens, terminating the current flow.
