Working Principle

ED4101/2-KD type terminal blocks feature a copper alloy sheet bridge with rosin zinc thermal insulation compound applied between copper sheets and insulation paper, providing the highest level of safety and reliability when assembling with original plugs and terminal blocks. The bridge is pre-assembled into a terminal block bridge insert. Insert the bridge into the terminal block and tighten the mechanical screws on the bridge holder, easy to use and safe. The enhanced anti-vibration feature prevents the terminal blocks from striking each other.

ED4101/2-KD blocks feature a center connection point allowing easy and secure connection of improved plugs. The terminal blocks include two through-bolts that allow easy and safe adjustment of terminal block width, from 24.7mm (ED4101 support width) to a maximum width of 130.8mm (ED4102 support width). The embedded type Spring Cage connection is used, while the bridge insertion is based on the Standard Bridge Kit.

The material of ED4101/2-KD type terminal blocks is heat and corrosion resistant and has a boron-based coating on the bridge kits and HV brackets, resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, so you can integrate it into a larger system without worry. The terminal block\'s clip-on design allows for easy installation along with fast replacement and time-saving. The unique steel lance ensures reliable, anti-vibration contact in the most rugged environments.

ED4101/2-KD terminal blocks feature shield support for improved electrical protection and decreased installation time. The single level shielded bridge supports allow contact between shield and terminal block, while the shielded component block bridges are taken up from the component block. The bridge is designed for multi-point contact, which helps achieve an enhanced protection status.
