Working Principle

The EE-SX673 is a logic output type photointerrupter that uses optical sensing technology to detect the presence and position of objects. The device consists of an infrared emitter and a detector which are integrated in the same housing. When an object passes through the slot between the emitter and detector, the light beam is interrupted, triggering the internal circuit and producing a logic signal.
