Common Mode Chokes

A common mode choke, also known as a line filter, is a device used to reduce both radiated and conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) from various sources such as AC mains electrical lines, data lines, motors, etc. It usually consists of a combination of inductors and capacitors. Common mode chokes are designed to pass differential mode currents while blocking common mode currents.
