EHU2-16/24 Application Field and Working Principle

EHU2-16/24 is an access control tool of Dahua Access Control range. It’s an access control unit which is compatible with many PBAX systems. It uses CMOS circuit for easy operation, reports the authorizations to the PC and features a variety of access control applications. It is used to grant access to only those persons who are eligible and make sure that unauthorized entry is restricted.

The EHU2-16/24 has a built-in 16/24 output and has various applications. It can be used to grant access to buildings, offices, communities, and residential complexes. Also, it can be used to record time attendance of the users. The EHU2-16/24 can be connected to other phones, intercoms, and PCS for transferring the data. Furthermore, it can provide security for access control systems, for example, it can detect signals of earthquake alarms and contact fire department.

The working principle of the EHU2-16/24 is based on CMOS based real-time communication protocol, which can detect and control the input and output of the access controller. By using a serial interface, it can transmit the authorization data to the PC or server. The authorization data can be stored into memory which allows the access controller to grant the request or restrict the access to certain users.

For granting access to certain users, the access controller must read the information from its memory and grant access to the user. It can be used for both verification of identity and authentication of authorization. If valid authentication is received, the system will grant the access for the user. However, if the authentication fails, access will be denied by the controller.

The EHU2-16/24 is also used to control the access to a PC system. This type of access controller can detect the input and output signals from the system and send this data to the PC for processing. The usage of EHU2-16/24 access control can be seen in banks, educational institutes and government facilities. As EHU2 supports non-linear authentication, it can reduce the burden of authentication requests and enable access control systems to function properly.
