EK3LV02DL is an advanced Smart Sensor Amplifier and Evaluation board designed for evaluation of the V30F1 infrared proximity and the V30F2 photoInterrupter Smart Sensors. This board provides users with 2 dedicated input lines to treat the input signals from the corresponding sensors without changing the board configuration. By using an integratedI2C device, integrated logic and mixing both the infrared and photoInterrupter sensors into one application, the board is an ideal solution for reducing system’s complexity and cost.

Working Principle of EK3LV02DL

The EK3LV02DL uses two basic signals in its operation. The first signal is called a reference signal or signal “A”, and the second signal is called a target signal or signal “B”. The reference signal is typically generated by pulsing a V30F1 infrared proximity sensor, while the target signal is generated by the V30F2 photoInterrupter. These two signals are combined in the amplifier board to create a single amplified signal. This amplified signal is then sent to an external controller where it can be used to control various types of devices. For example, the amplified signal could be used to turn on or off a motor, activate a laser, switch on/off a light, detect proximity etc.

The V30F1 and V30F2 sensors have an integrated I2C interface which allows the user to configure the board via the I2C interface. The board also has an LED status indicator which helps to visually check the board’s performance. Additionally, the board supports adjustable gain and hysteresis settings which provide flexibility in the way the board responds to the signals from the sensors.
