The EKEMBL15L is an EMI/Filter Assembly Kit typically used for suppression of High Frequency EMI emissions in electronic circuits. The kit consists of a Radial-leaded Common Mode Choke, Radio-Frequency Transformer, and Radial-leaded Ceramic Capacitor.

The Common Mode Choke is used to reduce differential mode disturbances that are coupled into the electric circuit through their shared power supply and return impendences. The choke is constructed with NiZn ferrite cores, which provides a high permeability material able to saturate easily, thus providing the optimal high frequency common mode noise and distortion suppression levels.
