EL5211IYE-T7 Application Field and Working PrincipleThe EL5211IYE-T7 is a linear, instrumentation, operational amplifier (op amp) with a high speed buffer output. It is ideally suited for signal conditioning and signal integrity applications in a wide range of industries. The EL5211IYE-T7 offers a high performance level with its low noise, bandwidth and distortion characteristics. This operational amplifier is also designed to provide a high common-mode rejection ratio, ideal for a variety of applications.The EL5211IYE-T7 is truly a high quality amplifier, with impressive linearity and common-mode rejection performance. Featuring a high open-loop gain of 1.6GHz and a wideband 3dB bandwidth of 90MHz, it is well-suited for a variety of general-purpose amplification and signal conditioning applications. Additionally, the amplifier includes a wide input common-mode range, low offset voltage and low bias current.The EL5211IYE-T7’s high speed buffer output makes it ideal for driving capacitive loads and double-speed data acquisition systems. It features a wide differential gain and phase error and offers a high slew rate of 10.5V/µs. The amplifier offers a low distortion profile with less than 0.02% and offers a low input noise voltage of 1.5nV/√Hz.The EL5211IYE-T7 op amp features remarkable power supply rejection ratio of 82dB and is able to operate over a wide supply voltage range between +/-2.5 V to +/-5.5 V. This amplifie also exhibits very low power consumption, making it suitable for battery power applications. It is available in a very small 8-pin SOIC package.The EL5211IYE-T7 has a wide set of applications, such as in medical instrumentation and imaging, data acquisition, audio and video signal processing systems, and level detectors. The op amp can be used to create high-quality AGC systems for use in precision analog circuits. Additionally, it can be used in video-speed timing circuits, video line scan circuits, power monitors, audio power amplifiers, and other data acquisition systems. The EL5211IYE-T7 operational amplifier uses a basic inverting amplifier topology by taking its (+) input, routing it through the differential amplifier stage, and then allowing it to return to the inverting terminal resulting in the negative-going output. The amplifier’s output voltage is entirely driven by the difference in voltage between the (+) and (-) inputs. Input signals can be received between the two inputs but only the difference between them will be amplified. The input signal is then amplified and the output voltage is determined by the voltage gain of the amplifier.The EL5211IYE-T7 is a high quality, high performance amplifier that is suitable for a wide range of instrumentation and signal conditioning applications. It offers a wideband 3dB bandwidth of 90MHz with excellent linearity and common-mode rejection. The amplifier features a wide input common-mode range, low offset voltage and low bias current.
