The EPXA10F1020C2 is a single chip, low-power Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) from Actel Corp. It is designed as a general purpose multi-purpose solution for embedded systems. The EPXA10F1020C2 combines a powerful array of I/Os, high clock speeds, and low power consumption in a single device. The EPXA10F1020C2 has a two-channel, universal FPGA architecture with two Xilinx Virtex-10 FPGAs and two low-power microcontrollers with 32-bit RISC architecture. The FPGA architecture supports a wide variety of applications such as digital signal processing, data acquisition and control, sensor applications, and communication system designs. The two microcontrollers provide the flexibility of two different application domains with different instruction sets. The two microcontrollers support a variety of embedded applications and are programmable via the C language. The FPGA supports bit-level, instruction-level, and thread-level programming of ISRs (Interrupt Service Routines). The FPGA also supports multiple clock domains and power management.
At the core of the EPXA10F1020C2 is the Xilinx Virtex-10 FPGA. It contains 10,360 logic cells and 14.5Kb of non-volatile memory. It also contains a 1.8V power supply and is capable of working at higher voltages than its 1.8V operating voltage.
