ERM01H36

The ERM01H36 belongs to the family of DC-DC Converters. It is a reliable and efficient switching regulator with continuous adjustable output from 0.6-36V. It is widely used in many applications, ranging from industrial automation, telecommunication systems, mobile computing, and control systems.

This device can accept input voltages up to 36V and generate an adjustable output voltage, with low ripple and high efficiency. It has built-in overcurrent, short-circuit and thermal shutdown protection, as well as low noise and no external components required. It also has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and an output accuracy of ±1% from 0.6V–17V out. It has an efficiency of up to 95%, and can deliver up to 0.47A.

The working principle of the ERM01H36 is based on a Buck switching regulator, which allows it to step down the DC input voltage. The input voltage is connected to the input of the DC-DC converter, which then is switched and buffered via an internal low-resistance FET switch. The energy stored in the inductor and output capacitor discharge to generate the desired output voltage. The internal PWM circuit generates a high frequency chopping signal which is then sent to the FET switch on the input side of the power supply. The power switch then driven by the PWM signal and creates a linear voltage onto the inductor. The voltage is boosted by a transformer and drops down on the output side, providing a regulated and adjustable DC voltage.
