The ESCO2D5A gas sensor is a low-cost and miniaturized electrochemical gas sensor which is able to detect the concentrations of a wide range of harmful gases.
The ESCO2D5A gas sensor consists of an absorber, an electrolyte, an anode, a cathode, a porous separator, a conductive bridge, and a reference gas. The absorber contains a gas-permeable polymer coating which allows the gas molecule to enter the absorption layer. The electrolyte solution comprises aqueous NaClO2 solution and PTFE salt solution.
