Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits: EVDN409 Application Field and Working PrincipleEVDN409 is an evaluation and demonstration board and kit used to evaluate the performance and features of the transistor Darlington Q027, Q028, Q029 and Q030. This board is designed and built to provide accurate readings of the parameters of the transistors to achieve the best possible assessment of the design. It works with an output voltage of 24 VDC at 150mA, a maximum current of 1A, and a maximum resistance of 1 Ohm. It comes with a 4x4 LED array and a LCD display.The EVDN409 board has a wide range of application fields, such as testing and evaluating Darlington current foldback, comparing Darlington transistors under various conditions, simulating common detection applications, and characterizing and comparing the performance of Darlington transistors across various parameters. It also provides a platform for understanding the basics of transistor circuitry design and operating theory. The EVDN409 board operates on a single condenser-type voltage supply. A self-calibrating feature in the circuitry controls the voltage and current provided to the Darlington transistor being tested. This feature allows the user to read continuously the voltage and current characteristics of theDarlington transistor over a wide range of currents. The voltage and current to the Darlington transistor is controlled by variable oscillatory components, which adjust the voltage and current characteristics with a feedback loop from the output.
