Working Principle of EX-PG Connectors

EX-PG connectors use a metal shell and contact either plastic or rubberized, to provide a secure fit and superior vibration resistance. The connector is either fastened by crimped sleeves or a pre-closed latch to ensure that the connection is secure. When the connector is plugged in, the contact is wired to the circuit, and the latch is released to establish the connection. When the plug is inserted, the electrical connection is made at the contact points, and the latch re-engages to ensure the connection is kept stable.
