EMI/RFI Filters (LC, RC Networks) have been used for decades in various applications to mitigate undesirable electrical noise. The EZA-ST11AAAJ is a series of EMI/RFI Filters (LC, RC networks) designed specifically for the digital domain. It is intended to protect a circuit or a system from high frequency EMI/RFI interferences. The EZA-ST11AAAJ EMI/RFI Filter is a series of single-stage wideband impedance networks that are designed to attenuate conducted susceptibility/emissions and provide interruptive protection for digital circuits in products used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.This series features a variety of configurable filter types. These include single stage low pass, high pass, and band pass filters utilizing a variety of elements including inductors, capacitors, and resistors.The EZA-ST11AAAJ filters are designed with an impedance of 50 ohms and feature an insertion loss of less than -25dB up to 400MHz. They offer a minimum emi/rfi suppression of 30dB up to 400MHz and 50dB up to 1GHz. The EZA-ST11AAAJ is highly adaptable and can be tailored for specific applications.In operation, the EZA-ST11AAAJ filter works by dropping the impedance of the interfering signal at the frequencies where the filter is tuned. This effect suppresses the energy of the EMI or RFI interference before it reaches the target circuit or system.The EZA-ST11AAAJ Filter is ideally suited for use in high frequency data lines in communications and computing applications such as LANs, WANs, switched networks, circuits with data transmission lines of longer lengths, multiple connected machines, and electro-mechanical components. The EZA-ST11AAAJ filter offers a high level of performance in terms of EMI/RFI noise attenuation, insertion loss and operating temperature range while also being cost-effective. This makes it an ideal choice for EMI/RFI mitigation applications in the digital domain.
