Working Principle

The F20B11005ACFA06E has an aluminum heat exchange and a built-in bi-metallic thermostat, a tool that reacts to temperature. It works because when hot or cold air passes over or through it, the two metals in the bi-metallic thermostat will expand or contract at different rates. When the current temperature of the air is higher than the set temperature, the bi-metallic thermostat will heat up and expand. The arm of the bi-metallic thermostat will then press down on the valve on the heat exchange and stop the flow of air.

When the current temperature of the air is lower than the set temperature, the bi-metallic thermostat will cool down and contract. The arm of the bi-metallic thermostat will then be released from the valve on the heat exchange and allow air to flow. This will help to cool the internal temperature and bring it back to the set temperature. The process then repeats itself as the temperature fluctuations.
