Working Principle

The FD0730013 oscillator is based on an integrated circuit (IC) chip with a unique electronic architecture. This allows the IC chip to oscillate at a specific frequency that is determined by an external capacitor (Coupling Capacitor, C1). The external capacitor is connected with two pins of the IC chip which enables the IC chip to oscillate. The output of the oscillator is determined by the capacitance of the external capacitor. As the capacitance of the capacitor increases, the output frequency of the oscillator decreases. The output frequency is determined by the following formula: f = 1/ (2πRC).When the oscillator is working, the voltage across the external capacitor starts to increases as the capacitor is being charged, which causes the internal oscillator to start oscillating. The oscillator continues to oscillate as long as the capacitor is charged. When the capacitor is completely discharged, the oscillator will stop working and the output will cease.
