FD6660019 is an oscillator that utilizes a temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) designed with Constant Temperature Circuit (CTC) technology. Through providing stable performance through temperature, it can be utilized in a wide variety of applications.

Application Field

FD6660019 oscillator can be used in most areas in which oscillator is applied, due to its excellent precision and stability over its operations be it under normal temperature or extreme temperatures. It can be used for antenna reception, mobile phone baseband clock signal, digital frontal clock signal and rear clock signal, BT/WIFI clock signal, set-top boxes, DVD/CD clock signal, consumer electronics, audio and video equipments, electric multimedia and communications, entertainment and other fields.

Working Principle

The temperature compensated crystal oscillator technology adopts a Constant Temperature Circuit (CTC) to make temperature compensated signals more accurate, which is known as the basic and essential operation of the temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO). Temperature compensated crystals are combined with transistors and a resonant circuit to overcome the temperature characteristics of the crystal. A plastic package structure is used for the TCXO, which can work under various temperatures and is expected to have a higher temperature coefficient. At the same time, the temperature of the oscillator should be constantly monitored and adjusted, in order to ensure that the frequency of the output signal does not deviate away from its predetermined set value, even under varying temperatures, the oscillator can always remain stable.

In addition to CTC, FD6660019 oscillator also utilizes voltage compensation to ensure the stability of the crystal oscillator, and reduce the frequency drift value. What this feature does is to monitor the voltage information, feeding it back to the oscillator circuit to ensure the circuit\'s performance, and allowing the oscillator circuit to output a stable clock signal frequency that will not be influenced by external temperature or power.
