FIN1032 MTC is a family of integrated high-performance, low-power driver and receiver transceivers used by many Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA) platforms. This family of transceivers provides a cost-effective, low-power solution for a wide range of serial interface applications.An important feature of FIN1032 transceivers is their low-power consumption in both static and dynamic conditions. In static conditions where no data is being transferred, the transceivers consume less than 1.5 mW. In dynamic conditions, the transceivers consume less than 25 mW at a data rate of 8.5 Gb/s. This low-power consumption enables longer battery life in handheld wireless devices and reduced power consumption in datacenter applications.The FIN1032 MTC can support serial data rates up to 8.5 Gb/s in full duplex mode and 7.5 Gb/s in half-duplex mode. This speeds up system data transfer and supports faster applications. The low-power consumption along with the high serial data rate makes the FIN1032 MTC ideal for applications such as Interlaken, HyperTransport, Serial RapidIO, and Gigabit Ethernet.
