OscillatorsOscillators are electrical or electronic circuits used to generate a periodic, oscillating signal. These signals are usually sine waves, though square, triangle, and sawtooth waves are possible as well. Oscillators are often used to control signals in radios, televisions, and other communications equipment. One of the most common types of oscillator is the FK 1200013 oscillator, which is widely used in the electronics industry. The FK 1200013 oscillator is an analog Sinusoidal Oscillator Circuit. When the reference voltage is applied to the oscillator stage, a negative Feedback loop is established. This negative Feedback loop consists of two operational amplifiers connected in an "inverting" configuration. The result is an unstable amplifier circuit, or "relaxation oscillator". When the output of the amplifier goes above the reference voltage, it is "clipped" by a voltage regulator, creating a sawtooth waveform which is then fed back to the input of the amplifier. This Feedback loop causes the output of the amplifier to continually oscillate above and below the reference voltage. By adjusting the value of the two RC time constants, the frequency of the oscillation can be adjusted to any value within the range of the circuit. The FK 1200013 oscillator offers a number of features such as the ability to produce precise frequency output, low distortion and noise, and high accuracy. It is relatively inexpensive and easy to use, and is highly durable and reliable. Additionally, it consumes low power, which makes it ideal for low-power applications.
