FK9830002 is a general Low Phase Noise Oscillator that operates in frequency range from 8MHz to 33.3MHz. It can be applied in CCD clock drive, FM transmitter, Power amplifier, Broadcast studios, Base station, Digital signal processor, Computer networks and other occasions. It is always used as a reference clock signal source. FK9830002 is also the first choice for carriers, base station, or reef repeater.
Working Principle
FK9830002 contains voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) circuit and integrated phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit. The oscillation frequency of the FK9830002 is determined by a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The PLL signal is generated based on the signal output of the VCO. VCO circuit and PLL circuit of the FK9830002 should work together to realize the whole oscillator. After the VCO produces a signal with a certain frequency, the PLL will compare and detect it. If the frequency changes, the voltage output by the PLL will also change to keep the advantages of small phase noise and frequency offset of the signal.
In addition, FK9830002 has three oscillation modes: 1. LC tank (fixed frequency) oscillator; 2. CMOS type voltage-controlled oscillator with LC tank; 3. CL type current-controlled oscillator with LC tank. Among them, LC tank is characterized by low-consumption, while the CMOS type consists of PMOS and NMOS transistor to adjust the frequency and the CMOS type is suitable for low cost. The CL type is an enhanced type of voltage-controlled oscillator, which has higher accurancy and higher linearity than the CMOS type.
