Single Conductor Cables (Hook-Up Wire)
FLTWC0311-26-2 is a type of single conductor cable, also known as hook-up wire. It is a flexible wire typically used for internal wiring of electronic equipment, manufacturing harnesses, and interconnecting domestic appliances, among many other uses. FLTWC0311-26-2 has a wide variety of applications due to its overall versatility and affordability.
Application Field
FLTWC0311-26-2 is widely used in the automotive industry for wiring of motors, car audio systems, starter cables, headlight wiring, and navigation systems. It is also used in the medical and industrial fields for interconnecting potential and loud speakers, connecting circuits, and aiding in the assembly of telephone systems. In addition, FLTWC0311-26-2 is suitable for electronics applications such as wiring of domestic and commercial appliances, electrical wiring, and computer cables.
Working Principle
FLTWC0311-26-2 is designed to operate efficiently between -20°C and +85°C. It has a UL rating of 14 AWG (American Wire Gauge) and an insulation diameter of 0.032 inches, meaning that the cable has a minimum outside diameter of 0.176 inches. The insulation is made from flexible, flame-retardant PVC for self-extinguishing and low smoke emission. This insulation material also provides the necessary strength and flexibility to ensure a long life, even under harsh conditions.
Contained within the PVC insulation is the 26 AWG (American Wire Gauge) conductor wire, coated with Unishield copper-clad aluminum alloy for improved heat transfer. This jacket has an excellent dielectric strength of 5000V per meter. The conductor has a stranded core for better flexibility and vibration resistance.
FLTWC0311-26-2 is designed to meet all applicable safety standards, including UL, CSA, JAN/UL, and JIS. It is also UL certified for use in approved applications.
