Working Principle:

FMSMFA1025M operates using a three phase, current-limiting fuse system. When a fault is detected, the fuse will blow and the circuit will be safely disconnected. This provides protection from short-circuits, over-currents, and over-voltage events.

The fuse is monitored by a voltage-controlled relay, which is connected in series with the fuse. When the voltage across the fuse exceeds the set level, the relay will activate, breaking the circuit.

FMSMFA1025M also features an optional earth-leakage protection system, which monitors the current flowing in the neutral conductor of the circuit. If an earth-leakage fault is detected, the trip mechanism of the fuse is activated and the circuit is disconnected.

In addition, FMSMFA1025M can be configured to use either manual or automatic switching mode. In manual mode, the user must switch the circuit off manually, while in automatic mode, the switching is done automatically.
