The resonance of the inductive and capacitive components of the filter reduces the amount of harmonics that are present in the system, improving system stability.Furthermore, the FN685-16-03 filter has three layers of shielding for better interference suppression, along with a sloping path that prevents resonance between the filter induction coils. This eliminates high-frequency EMI and amplifies the inductance of the filter coil to further reduce low-frequency EMI.To further reduce system resistance and power line stability, the FN685-16-03 is equipped with three capacitors. These capacitors are used to reduce the current flowing through the coil, providing enough capacitance to effectively reduce voltage transients. Each capacitor can be tuned separately to tailor the capacitor’s effects, optimizing the filter for different power line frequencies.The operating frequency range of the filter module is from 45 Hz to 500 kHz, with an operating voltage rating of up to 6 kV.
