Power Line Filter Modules are designed to provide lightning and surge protection, clean power to prevent interference as well as protect the operation of electrical and electronic equipment from dangerous overvoltages. The FN9675-16-03 is a two-phase filter module specifically designed for 125A applications. It is provided with three elements: a common-mode filter, a differential-mode filter, and a spark-gap for suppressor of transients.
The common-mode filter in the FN9675-16-03 is designed to provide isolation and suppression of common-mode noise. It features a double inductor core and a unique differential pair design with very good attenuation characteristics. The inductive element, which is the primary filtering element in the module, is able to effectively reduce common-mode noise up to 50dB at 200kHz.
