The RXS system utilizes standard 2.4GHz WLAN signal as its communication backbone. The transmitted and received signals are analyzed and filtered accordingly to achieve the desired range and signal quality. The Ranges Extender System also provides wireless transmission without having to use the typical infrastructure of base station, repeaters, or access points. This makes the FOBLOQA-4T2 an ideal choice for high-throughput, low-power, short-range wireless communication applications.The FOBLOQA-4T2 has four different types of operation modalities: standalone, hosted, shared, and networked. The standalone mode is simple, requiring a single FOBLOQA-4T2 at each end-point to provide the required wireless communication between the two points. The hosted mode is somewhat more complex, requiring the use of an intermediate device which then serves as the host for the FOBLOQA-4T2 at the far end. The shared mode allows multiple FOBLOQA-4T2 units share the same wireless channel. The networked mode is the most complex, requiring multiple FOBLOQA-4T2 units, networked together to create a wireless bridge between two or more end-points. The FOBLOQA-4T2 works on the standard 2.4 GHz ISM band, and uses either frequency hopping spread spectrum or direct sequence spread spectrum modulation techniques. The FOBLOQA-4T2 has a nominal data rate of 2-20 Mbps depending on the mode of operation. It supports up to 16 simultaneous connections, providing high levels of scalability and flexibility. The RXS system provides an advanced signal processing capability for the FOBLOQA-4T2. It is capable of accurately discriminating between real and diffracted signals to ensure optimal wireless connection quality. The RXS system also uses complex signal-processing algorithms to eliminate interference, minimizing dropped connections and ensuring that the signal quality is maintained throughout the duration of the packet.The FOBLOQA-4T2 is designed to be extremely energy-efficient, consuming very low power compared to the average radio signal receiver.
