FPF2109 is a N-Channel MOSFET driver IC from Diodes Inc, which provides higher output current with low power dissipation for industrial, IoT and mobile product applications. The device features an integrated high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFET, as well as an embedded low-power n-channel MOSFET for operation in a low signal power environment. The device is available in a small TSSOP-5 package, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.The FPF2109 power distribution switches, load drivers, and power delivery circuits allow simple and efficient control of adaptive voltage scaling and dynamic voltage scaling to support intermediate power nodes in system power architectures. The device contains two on-board N-channel MOSFETs, which can provide up to 2 A continuous sourcing and sinking currents. Additionally, the device contains a low side MOSFET which is used to reduce system power consumption during devices that allow active-low voltage level logic signals to operate efficiently with lower power consumption.The FPF2109 power delivery circuits combine the low side MOSFET and the N-channel MOSFET into a single integrated circuit for efficient power delivery to the device and system components. The device features ESD protection for DIG and analog input/output pins, and has a wide operating temperature range from −40°C to +150°C.The FPF2109 power distribution switches, load drivers and power delivery circuits allow the device to be used in a variety of power system architectures. For example, in a single rail power system, the device can be used for basic on/off control for the power rail. The power distribution can also be used in a multi-rail system, utilizing the dual N-channel MOSFETs and the low side MOSFET. Additionally, the device can be used in battery-powered systems, allowing low-power, high-accuracy control of battery voltage.The FPF2109 power delivery circuits also offer improved battery life and performance. The device is designed to detect the battery level and adjust the voltage in order to regulate the system power, providing improved battery life and performance. Additionally, the device can be used in custom charger and power delivery applications, offering high-accuracy voltage control while reducing system complexity.The FPF2109 device also offers a unique set of features that enable its use in a wide range of applications. For example, the power delivery circuits includes adaptive voltage scaling and dynamic voltage scaling features for system optimization, as well as an on-chip programmable oscillator for precision control. The device also features configurable slew rate settings for optimized power delivery, a logic input for device state control, and an active-low Level Shift Circuit for switching between voltage levels. The device also features an integrated low VGS discharge circuit for discharging the drain voltage to ground in the off-state, which minimizes power consumption and improves reliability.Overall, the FPF2109 power distribution switches, load drivers, and power delivery circuits provides a simple and efficient solution for power delivery in a wide variety of systems.
