FPSLDST025ML3SR is a highly efficient intelligent three-phase single-phase low-frequency pulse dimming soft-start device. It mainly solves the problems of conventional thyristor dimmer start, and the soft start protection, no-load current detection, quick start protection function of electric machinery. This device can be widely used in various motor start-up electronic speed regulating systems, such as induction motor, synchronous motor, stepper motor and other position control systems.

Working Principle

The basic working principle is to convert the AC power into both 150Vst-st and 8Vst-st square wave signals of up to 25KHz. To obtain them, the device needs flyback transformer, current transformer and voltage transformer in the control side, as well as phase locked loop (PLL) and voltage level controller in the output side.

The core components of this device are a pair of PWM (pulse width modulation) linear controllers responsible for controlling the frequency, voltage, current, zero-crossing trigger and other parts. The primary control components of the device are the main conductive components such as MOSFET, power relay and current limiting directional relay. The auxiliary control components of the device include a variety of heat dissipation and protective components.

When the device is turned on, the voltage level controller performs low-voltage protection and phase-locked control, and only after passing it can the square wave signals pass to the current controller. The current controller adjusts the output current in real time according to the feedback voltage signal sent back by PLL, and then makes the voltage controller generates PWMs with variable frequencies and amplitude.

Through the optimized design of MOSFET, the motor current waveform is controlled by the series combination of MOSFET, and the motor starts up faster and smoothly. In the process of working, due to the protection of PLL voltage level limitation, the device will be able to protect itself from various failures and further ensure the safety of electrical equipment.
