This low-power, high-performance Arm Cortex--M4 processor is designed for applications requiring integration of multi-standard motion, inertial, environmental, voice, power, and battery life monitoring sensors.The platform features the high-precision Cyclonix G-sensor and accelerometer, a big-dipper barometer, and a Myo-muscle isolation based sensor fusion driver. The MC36xSD-EVB also includes a full-color LCD for display and control capabilities. With the MC36xSD-EVB, users can connect to an external 3.5mm audio jack for audio playback or microphone input.The FRDM-MC36xSD-EVB platform is a fully integrated system designed to provide the user with all the necessary tools to evaluate and demonstrate the features of the Kinetis MC36x platform. The board includes the MC36x processor, sensors, digital interface ICs, a USB port for communication, and a 3V battery as its main components.
