FSA223L10X Application Field and Working Principle
FSA223L10X analog switch is a special-purpose analog switch device which can be classified under Interface - Analog Switches - Special Purpose. It is suitable for circuits which are exposed to tight space requirements and minimal power consumption needs.

Working Principle
The FSA223L10X works by controlling the flow of current or voltage through two nodes of a circuit. It has two inputs, A and B, and two outputs, X and Y. Depending on the input logic states at A and B, the switch will either connect X and Y, thus allowing current flow between them, or it will open the connection, preventing current flow. In other words, depending on the logic state at A and B, either X or Y will be connected to either A or B.
When the A and B inputs are at a logic high level, both X and Y are connected to the A or B line. When the inputs are at the logic low level, X and Y are disconnected from both A and B. This allows for changes in between the two logic states, by which the state of the switch can be changed. By controlling the logic states of A and B, the output of the FSA223L10X can be switched between the A and B line, thus allowing a controlled flow of current or voltage between them.
The FSA223L10X analog switch is designed to provide excellent on-resistance and low voltage drop, at the same time consuming minimal power. It is also designed to have low crosstalk and low charge injection, to give superior performance in near-field magnetic Recording (NFMR) applications. Additionally, this switch is capable of handling up to 10V and a maximum current of 10mA.
