The ruggedized nature of this connector also allows for pre-terminated tail cables which are suitable for data center and Outside Plant operations.

Working Principle

The FSC2DMCXAQ connector is a MTP/MPO connector that features the same body as the FSC2DMCX connector. The connection between two FSC2DMCXAQ connectors can come in three different forms including a pin, clip, or a push-pull dynamic link. With any of the three connections, a Push-Pull locking connection can be made between two FSC2DMCXAQ connectors with the latches engaging the two connectors together. Once a connection has been established, it will need to be tested. This is done using a testing probe that is connected to either a cleaning or test tool.

For end faces, the FSC2DMCXAQ connectors use a PC or APC Polish. This allows for the minimization of light loss when it passes through the connector. Depending on the application, the polish can be customized to the application in order to reduce the return loss to a minimum. Therefore, using FSC2DMCXAQ can achieve reliable connection and provide low insertion loss for communication.
