The body is the larger of the two parts, featuring two sets of opposing slots, available in 2, 3, and 4-hole designs. The ferrule is inserted into the body and crimped in place with a special tool. This secures the connection between the wire and terminal while providing insulation from the environment. The terminals are then connected to a pair of metal contact points to complete the circuit.

The FSF76-6-D is designed to make it easier to make connections and provides a safe, secure and reliable connection.
