Motion sensors, also known as Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), are used to detect and track the position of a device, usually in three-dimensional space. The FSM-305 is a motion sensor that is commonly used in a wide range of applications, including stabilization and control, navigation and guidance systems, and guidance and navigation systems in robotics.
The FSM-305 includes a three-axis accelerometer with a range of ±20g to measure linear acceleration, a three-axis magnetometer with a range of 0-110 mT to measure absolute orientation, a three-axis gyroscope with a range of ±800°/s to measure angular velocity, and a temperature sensor for temperature compensation.
