Working principle

The FW1812-760F consists of two major components. The power transformer and the rectifier circuit. The power transformer is comprised of a Toroidal primary transformer, and a secondary transformer which boosts the output voltage. The rectifier circuit employs a series of rectifiers to convert the alternating current from the secondary transformer to direct current.

The rectifier circuit is divided into two stages: the first stage of the rectifier circuit is usually static, while the second one is actively regulated. In the first stage, the rectifier circuit acts as a voltage transformer, reducing the instability of the mains voltage and supplying the power line with a more regulated voltage. In the second stage, the active regulator controls the output voltage, providing it with greater stability.
