Working Principle
FX4B3-52P-1.27SV(71) is an Edge Type Mezzanine Connector which can establish a reliable and secure electrical connection between two devices. The connector has two structural parts, the male portion is contact, and the female portion is a housing. This housing is mated with cable assemblies or PCB and assembled using either hardware or press-fit technology. Inside the housing, there are slots whose depth, width, and size are designed to receive and hold male contacts. The male contacts are connected to pins on one side and to the cable or PCB pads on the other. As contacts mate, a secure electrical connection is established.
In addition, The Edge Type Mezzanine Connector uses a pin and socket contact system, often referred to as a \'friction and lock\' system, to ensure secure mating. In order to ensure a reliable and secure connection, the pins and sockets of the Edge Type Mezzanine Connector will have a specific size and shape and must be secure when engaged.
