The FY1113F-TR device consists of two independent temperature detection circuits and an LED indicator module. Its system can detect the temperature from two distinct external sources. When the temperature drops below the preset lower temperature threshold (Tmin), the internal green LED will be activated for over-temperature protection. When the temperature rises above the preset upper temperature threshold (Tmax), the internal red/blue LED will be activated for over-temperature protection.The LED is also equipped with a fault detection circuit that will detect if the LED fails to operate at the set temperature levels. It will flash green if the LED fails to activate at Tmin and it will flash both red and blue if the LED fails to activate at Tmax.

The FY1113F-TR application field extends to the general-purpose temperature alarms and the general industrial temperature control markets. It is most often used in rooms, warehouses, and offices as an indication of temperature variables and trends.

The LED indication works in the following way: When the LED is operating normally, the LED lights up green at lower temperatures (Tmin) and red/blue (or any combination of these colors) at higher temperatures (Tmax). The LED will also flash green at lower temperatures (Tmin) and shimmer between red and blue (or any combination of these colors) at higher temperatures (Tmax).

The device can be configured for either 5-13V operation for red/blue indication or for direct current (DC) operations for red/green indication. In either case, the device is designed to maximize efficiency and operational life span.

Further,the FY1113F-TR is designed for various kinds of operating environment. It is designed to work with temperatures from -40°C to + 85°C, with a maximum voltage of 5.5V and a maximum current of 25mA. It is also IP55 rated, making it suitable for outdoor or indoor applications.
