G-NIMO-004 temperature sensors are widely used, as they are often referred to as a “universal” temperature sensor. They have a variety of applications and can output either an analog voltage or a digital signal.

These sensors use a technology known as Thermoelectric Coupling to convert a temperature difference between two surfaces into an electrical signal. The sensor has two conductive metal plates separated by a thermally resistant material – the thermal resistance.

When one of the metal plates is heated, electrons can cross the thermal resistance and the second plate will increase in temperature. This is known as the Seebeck effect. The exact temperature is measured with precision thermistors, and then a voltage or digital signal is created for each temperature range.

The G-NIMO-004 is able to measure temperatures from -40 to +125°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. It can be used for data acquisition, process control, monitoring, and many other applications.

The sensor can be connected to an analog or digital circuit. The digital output is read through an I2C interface and the analog output is a voltage level which is proportional to the temperature.

The analog output of the G-NIMO-004 is in the range ±0.1V and is easily connected to any standard analog-to-digital converter. The digital output is in the range of 0-255, and is easily readable through an I2C interface.

G-NIMO-004 temperature sensors are an ideal choice for applications requiring accurate and reliable temperature measurement. They are easy to install, and they are capable of outputting either an analog or digital signal. This makes them extremely versatile and useful for a variety of applications.
