The G125-MS11605L3R rectangular connectors - headers, male pins, are characterized by having a compact three-piece design, which includes a receptacle base, a front cover and sealing elements. The receptacle base is the main component of this connectors series, and it consists in two independent halves, molded in black thermoplastic elastomer, that are fitted with both insulation displacement contacts (IDC) and soldered contacts. The IDC contacts have rigid locking and strain relief barriers that secure the wires passes within the receptacle base and assure a reliable electrical contact. The wires are firmly pressed against the contact blade sockets, and retained into the proper open and closed positions with special latching systems.

Moreover, the receptacle base includes current, voltage, temperature and random vibration signal circuits, which ensure superior performance and complete customer satisfaction. The front cover is also made of a thermoplastic elastomer, and it is equipped with snap-on mechanisms that keep both halves firmly attached, without the need of any additional mechanical fastening. Additionally, the sealing elements are integrated into the cover, and they consist in a high temperature rubber boot and optional o-rings that allow for protecting the wires as well as the electrical contacts from corrosion.
