Working principle of G3VM-41AY
The G3VM-41AY is a zero-crossing SSR, meaning it uses the signal generated when the input voltage across its terminals crosses zero to switch the load “on” or “off”. The zero-crossing in this type of SSR is ensured by the “built-in” ZC circuit, as opposed to the optical/optical-coupled SSRs. This ZC circuit consists of a free-running oscillator, a comparator, and a switch. When the input voltage rises above a certain level, the comparator triggers a voltage spike that turns the switch “on”, allowing current to flow through the SSR and the load. When the voltage across the terminals crosses zero, the comparator triggers a voltage spike that turns the switch “off”.
