GC2011A-PB Interface
GC2011A-PB is an integrated communication interface for serial and parallel communication. It supports a variety of protocols, such as Ethernet and I2C, to facilitate the exchange of information between devices. Its ability to support different communication protocols allows it to be used in a wide range of applications.GC2011A-PB includes a transceiver, an inactive low power transceiver, and a hybrid communicator, or ‘cross-chip’ communicator, that works in the same way as the inactive low power transceiver. The cross-chip communicator terminates communications on the side of the device that is to be connected. The cross-chip communicator and transceiver communicate through 2 GPIO lines. GC2011A-PB features a set of hardware filters which are capable of filtering out unwanted noise from the received data stream. The hardware filters are divided in two categories – passive and active filters. The passive filters are used to reduce the low and middle frequency components of the received signal. The passive filters are based on the design of the Chebyshev filter which allows for maximum efficiency with minimum noise.The active filters are used to reduce the high frequency components of the received signal. The active filters are based on a sigma-delta modulator and have additional features such as frequency weighting and notch filtering.
