GP-X12ML Proximity Sensors

A proximity sensor is a gadget used to detect the presence of an object or a person, even in harsh environments. When an object enters into the sensing range of the detected, the electromagnetic field created by the sensing plate interacts with the dielectric material and induces a capacitance-change. This modification of capacitance is then sensed by the capacitive sensing circuit. This capacitive sensing circuit then creates an electrical signal which is then sent to the object detector. This detects the presence of the object and sends the signal back to the controlling system as an indication of the object’s presence.The GP-X12ML also has several advantages, such as it’s small size, high accuracy, and extensive protection against voltage transients.
