The working principle of the GRS-4022A-0000 switch is based on the concept of a rocking lever or a rocker arm. This rocker arm is connected to a spring loaded ball which rests on two toggle switches mounted at opposite positions. When actuated, the rocker arm obligates the spring loaded ball to roll over the two toggle switches – thus As the rocker arm is moved in one direction, it pushes the ball away from one switch, releasing the circuit. Moving the rocker arm in the other direction results in the same circuit being closed. This is further assisted by snap action properties provided by a spring and the toggle switch, thus providing a more reliable switch operation.
