The GT225S160A power module is an accessory used in many applications, from solar energy to power lines and other industrial applications. It is a two-phase controlled bridge topology, full wave rectifier, field-effect transistor (FET) with protection, and adjustable current. It can be used for step-down or buck regulation, step-up or boost regulation, and constant current source.

The working principle of the GT225S160A involves the control electronics being used to manipulate the power module’s output. It applies a PWM technique with a control loop that enables regulation of current, voltage and frequency, thereby taking the current form input voltage and convert it to precise desired output current.
