GreenUniting Two-Adapter Driver, or GU2AD, is an engineering-level solution designed to assist technically advanced lighting designers in providing reliable, cost-effective lighting solutions. The product, first developed by the lighting engineering team at GreenUniting and released in 2019, provides a simple, straightforward solution to the demanding requirements of high-end LED lighting design.The GU2AD is specifically designed to work with LED lighting – lighting components such as LED Chips on Board (COBs), engines, and modules – and is packed with features that make it ideal for this purpose. The product can be used to drive both constant-current and constant-voltage LED lighting and offers auto-sensing capabilities that allow the user to switch from one type of LED to the other quickly and easily.The GU2AD package includes a controller board and two adapters, for which there are three different models available. The first model is a simple constant-current adapter, which is used to drive the LEDs with a constant current, allowing the user to adjust the luminosity of the LEDs by changing the current. The second model is a constant-voltage adapter, which converts the voltage to a steady level, and is used to drive the LEDs with a constant voltage, allowing the user to adjust the luminosity of the LEDs by changing the voltage.The last model is a combination adapter, which is designed to work with both constant-current and constant-voltage LED lighting. The combination adapter allows the user to adjust the luminosity of the LEDs by changing both the current and the voltage.In addition to its ability to drive both constant-current and constant-voltage LED lighting, the GU2AD is also designed to be compatible with a wide range of LED light sources such as lamps, floodlights, fixtures, and more.The GU2AD also includes a number of additional features, such as over-temperature protection and short-circuit protection, as well as dimming capabilities. The dimming capabilities allow the user to adjust the brightness of the LED lighting from a minimum of 100 lumens to a maximum of 1,000 lumens.The GU2AD is a versatile and practical product for LED lighting designers and engineers, providing reliable and cost-effective solutions for a wide range of lighting requirements.
