Generally, the cathode end of one diode will be connected to the anode end of the other diode. The anode of the first diode will be connected to either the negative or positive side of the power source, and the cathode of the second diode will be connected to the negative or positive side of the power source.In this arrangement, when the voltage of the AC source reaches a peak, the current will be forced to flow in a circular motion and all of the power will be converted to DC current.
