Proximity sensors are sensors that detect the presence of objects without any physical contact.They are widely used in automation systems to detect the presence of objects in the detection range, provide reliable and non-contact object detection, and route signals to control system. The GX-F8B-P-C5 series inductive sensors have an encased cylindrical housing made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and are incorporated with an inductive sensing element. When the induced current is large enough, an oscillator circuit is triggered to switch on the output of the sensor. When an object enters the sensing region, the induced current in the receiver coil will be changed, thus activating the output.
