The H1DXS-2636G is a rectangular cable assembly composed of two custom harnesses that are both integrated and connected into one small footprint device. It is a small footprint cable assembly with two independent 30-conductor Type-C cables (male and female) with an overall pitch of .100 inches.

Working Principle

The H1DXS-2636G utilizes a combined mezzanine and connector male/female cable assembly. The custom harness features two built-in .100-inch pitch Type-C connectors, one male and one female. The mezzanine is a unique interconnect solution designed to ensure quick and reliable connection between two independent data sources.

The H1DXS-2636G works by using a dual mezzanine connector system. The mezzanine pin is first inserted into the respective connector and then locked securely onto the mezzanine. This supports two independent data sources, as the mezzanine acts as a connection bridge between the two separate platforms. The locking force between the two layers of pins ensures the connection is held firmly in place, while the flexibility of the mezzanine allows the connection flexibility to accommodate shifts in the signal during data transmission.

As the mezzanine is insulated from the environment, it is inherently resistant to RF/EMI interference from the surrounding environment. Additionally, the H1DXS-2636G utilizes foam, clamshell, and Flex-300-UL EMC shields to provide EMC shielding to help prevent data loss that can result from RF/EMI interference.
