H3BWH-1006G connectors are widely used in rectangular cable assemblies. Working Principle of H3BWH-1006G Connectors

Its two-piece body design makes it easier to maintain and field-terminate than its predecessors.The H3BWH-1006G casing is of hard guide and connector is injected with thermoplastic, which makes it lighter and stronger than its predecessors. Its size is 1.6 mm in diameter and 11.6 mm in length. It comes with different color materials which helps in identifying the wire direction and pin number in the socket. Each H3BWH-1006G contact is made from two parts: male and female, and each part crimps to the wire individually.

The male contact is crimped to the wire, and the female contact then crimps into the male contact. The male contact has a latch which provides the mechanical connection and the female contact has the same latch which provides the electrical connections. The contacts are held together by a combination of physical contact and magnetic attraction.
