Through Hole Resistors

A through-hole resistor is an electronic component for dissipating power usually in the form of a cylindrical package. Its name comes from its design structure in which two metal rods are inserted into a ceramic or plastic housing with a hole in it. The two rods, or leads, extend out of the housing allowing them to be easily connected to electronic circuits. Through-hole resistors, also known as through-hole resistors or sometimes simply as resistors, are one of the simplest and most commonly used electronic components.

H8174KBDA through-hole resistors are designed for electronic applications that require high power dissipation.
