When the fluid is flowed through the aluminum blocks, the temperature of the sensor is changed due to the heat transfer between the fluid and the heated block. This then results in a change of the resistance of the sensor, which is detected by the circuit inside the device, and the flow rate or total volume is calculated accordingly.

The device is powered by a DC volt of 6 - 18V and is provided with two outputs - an analog output (0-10V) as well as a digital output (TTL).This ensures precise output signals and more precise flow measurements. It also has a user-friendly operation panel with LCD display which facilitates quick and easy setup and adjustment.
