  The HC2-HPL-AC24V-F is an AC powered, general purpose, two-pole, two-position power relay. It is designed to switch line voltage loads, up to 240VAC, 2 Amps. Typical applications include HVAC, medical equipment, motor control, lighting, and domestic appliances. It is also suitable for industrial automation, access control, vending machines, equipment testing and data communication systems.

• Working Principle

  The HC2-HPL-AC24V-F is an electromagnetic relay. An electromagnet is created when a current is passed through the control circuit. This energizes the coil of the relay, which in turn produces a magnetic field. This magnetic field attracts the movable plunger of the relay, causing it to close the switch contacts. The switch contacts are configured for normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) operation.

  The relay is also equipped with power contacts, which allow it to control power to other devices. The power contacts are rated to carry up to 2 Amps of current. The standard configuration of this relay includes one normally closed power contact and one normally open power contact. For applications requiring more power contacts, HC2-HPL-AC24V-F relays can be interconnected using jumper wires and/or terminal blocks.

  The HC2-HPL-AC24V-F is a reliable and durable device. It has a doubled sealed contact design with gold plating to ensure a long life and stable operation. The contact resistance is 0.03 ohms and the insulation resistance is greater than 1000MΩ.
